Konkurs został zorganizowany przez Zespół Szkół Technicznych im. kmdr Antoniego Garnuszewskiego oraz biblioteki w Tczewie i Gniewie. Patronat objął nad nim starosta tczewski.
Powiat obiecuje wsparcie kultury
- Szkoła to taka instytucja, która pomaga rozwijać zainteresowania uczniów – przypomniał Kazimierz Ickiewicz, dyrektor ZST oraz radny miejski. - Nauczyciele i dyrektorzy szkół zawodowych mogą poszczycić się uczniami uzdolnionymi w innych kategoriach niż zawody, w których ta młodzież się kształci.
Starosta tczewski zapowiedział większe wsparcie kultury przez powiat w tym roku.
- Mam nadzieję, że to będzie widoczne – stwierdził starosta Witold Sosnowski. - W nowej siedzibie starostwa przy ul. Piaskowej zaplanowaliśmy jedno z pomieszczeń przeznaczyć na cele wystawiennicze.
Nagrody dla wszystkich
Na konkurs wpłynęło ponad 60 prac od 21 uczestników, uczniów pięciu szkół ponadgimnazjalnych. Do wyboru były dwie kategorie: fotografia i rysunek. Obiektem zainteresowań uczestników konkursu była lokalna przyroda, środowisko i zabytki.
- Mieliśmy problem z wyborem miejsc, dlatego nagrodziliśmy wszystkich – przyznała Iwona Węgrowska z komisji jurorskiej. - Prace są ciekawe, zarówno rysunki jak i fotografie.
Za najlepsze fotografie uznano zdjęcia Marty Zejer z Zespołu Szkół Rzemieślniczych i Kupieckich w Tczewie oraz Katarzyny Kleina z Zespołu Szkół Technicznych w Tczewie. W kategorii rysunek pierwszą lokatę przyznano Ewelinie Handke (ZSRiK) za pracę „Stary Tczew”.
- Promujcie to miasto, promujcie powiat tczewski i nie wstydźcie się tego, bo nasz region bardzo się rozwija – apelował szef Biura Promocji Urzędu Miejskiego w Tczewie Ludwik Kiedrowski.
Wystawę pokonkursową można oglądać do końca marca w galerii tczewskiej biblioteki przy ul. Dąbrowskiego.
